Emu Oil

French African Guineas

Enjoy this tender, lean and juicy meat full of flavor, one of the most delicious meals you’ll ever experience. The French Guinea breed is often raised for meat as the birds grow twice as fast and are about 2 pounds heavier than the common Guinea Fowl. Guineas are succulent with light-colored breast meat that has more flavor and character than chicken. Even though the leg meat is dark, it is tender and exceptionally rich and flavorsome. For several good reasons, the guinea is a personal favorite here on the farm.

French Muscovy Ducks

The French Muscovy duck yields an excellent amount of tasty and nutritious meat which contains 50% less fat than the typical American Muscovy duck. Given its reduced fat content, these ducks not only produce tremendous flavor, they are also a bit easier to manage in the kitchen.
In a nutshell, this is a great bird for both an experienced chef and or novice kitchen goers looking to get creative and expand their culinary repertoire.

Grass Fed Beef

Grass-fed beef is the “new red meat” and we are taking it very serious here at Applecheek Farm. We use heritage breed genetics such as Devons and Shorthorns to raise meats that acquire excellent marbling, texture, and flavor. We take great pride in both raising and finishing our beef on grass, which produces a superior taste and nutritional volume in comparison to conventional grain fed cattle.

Pasture Raised Eggs

Our organic, pasture-raised egg layers are moved around the pasture via egg mobile from early Spring to late Fall where they produce the most nutritious and delicious eggs possible. The egg mobile is a mobile unit which allows the birds to be moved frequently on pasture in coalition with our rotational grazing system. During the winter they spend their time in a warm greenhouse.

Our veal is an old fashioned suckled veal, that is raised outside on open pastures where there is plenty of room to roam, forage and exercise. When our veal hits your plate you will notice the meat is a rosy pink in color and full of flavor and texture, demonstrating a natural diet and plenty of free range freedom.

Pastured Pork

Our pork is from old-fashioned pigs raised on rotationally grazing methods. We raise primary Tamworth and Berkshire crosses. Our pigs are happy pigs. They are a joy to watch as they run around and squeal as we prepare their food. Pigs are omnivores, so unlike cows, they cannot live on grass alone. Therefore, we supplement their feed with organic milk, vegetables scraps from our garden, organic corn and barley. Pastured pork has a dense texture, is moist, juicy, and tender - incredible flavorful.

Welcome to the Applecheek Farm Boston Buyer's Club

Applecheek Farm is excited to deliver our sustainable organic meats and vegetables to the Boston Metro area! Often times food products that are raised in this manner are very difficult to access and are often times extremely expensive for those who live in a metro area. A buyer’s club is a tremendous way for our farm to provide sustainable and nutrient dense food and connect directly with the good people of Boston.

We are a small family farm and some items are in limited supply and will be sold on a first come first serve basis as well as an approximate size.

How does this work?

- Individual orders exceeding $300 will receive a 10% discount.
- All orders include a 15% delivery charge.
- A collective and minimum community order of $2,000 must be fulfilled in order for our farm to cover the expense of delivery.
- All orders require a 50% deposit at the time of checkout.
